Show your Wilderness Pussy

I've always liked cats, but the last one we had was a real evil bastard. I have no idea what his problem was, but he was a sonofabitch from the get-go. He liked to bite, and he bit HARD. He bit through the supposedly "bite proof" gloves the vet was wearing, and ended up breaking off one of his fangs in her hand. He bit my sister in law in the face and went all the way through her lip- just lunged at her for no reason and WHAM! He bit a friend of ours on the leg and drew quite a bit of blood. My wife and I actually took him back to the shelter and returned him. It was either that or a hollowpoint.

I had another cat a few years ago that I really liked- he was very sweet natured and loving. He used to sit in the kitchen and watch the faucet drip for hours at a time. He'd turn the faucet on by batting at it, and play with the water. He would also play fetch, which I've never had another cat do. That sweet creature met his end at the claws of a much bigger cat- a mountain lion we think (this was in Montana). We found a bunch of mangled fur in the yard, that's all that was left of our buddy Jack.

We have dogs now, and they're great.

Was the biter declawed?

I used to have a kitty Old Cujo that would fetch rolled up foil balls. She was cool. Lived to be 15.

Moonwilson, I know what you mean. We had one when my wife and I first got married that was just plain wicked like that. I was the only one who could touch her; anyone else and she went ballistic. I asked the vet about it and some cats just won't domesticate; No matter how long you've had them or how young you got them. We ended up having to get rid of her.

I agree that the guy that did that to an animal should be tried like it was a human. That's how serial killers get their start. He should be hung and flayed and all other manner of nasty things for that. Just plain sick.

Y'all got some good lookin' cats. My mom's the crazy cat lady, 5 inside and 2 out, so I love cats. My cat at my mom's plays fetch like that hollow!
