Our latest purchases always tends to be at the top of our favourite knife list for obvious reasons , in my case I always have a "new " knife that gets most of my attention and gets photographed and touted as my " EDC " or "Todays " knife .
I do carry and use those knives , so I feel safe in posting them in those threads , but most of the time those new knives get used and carried on weekends and evenings .
My true EDC at work every single day for about a year now without fail almost to the point of superstitious belief is my Delica Hap40 with a modified blade tip and custom scales .
It is an absolute workhorse of a knife that gets no special treatment and has never let me down or ever had a single issue .

I would be interested in seeing if others have a trusted " Work " knife like mine , one that doesnt get all the accolades and photo shoots but is there day after day at work , then gets the weekends and evenings off to rest .

Lets see them , it doesnt matter where you work , if its a faithful friend and you continuously carry it , show it .

And this one for a year before that... Semi-retired. Still goes to work when I feel like carrying two knives.

Nice Ken, most nites I'll be setting near the wood stove, slicing up boxes to use as fire helpers to get the wood going in the morning,

My work knife is a spyderco delica super blue. For some reason my phone and the I pad won't let me submit pictures?

Every knife I own is a work knife.

Every knife I own is a work knife.

I was going to say : How many pages of this thread am I allowed to hog with photos . . .

here this will make it easier (and shorter) . . .
These are not my work knives.
These are my out on the town knives.
Top one is the steak knife; rides in bottom of pocket.
The one with the clip is my seat belt cutter; rides on edge of pocket or my shirt pocket.

Well that wasn't what you wanted though

Here yah go . . . here is a serious work knife : Cold Steel Pendleton Hunter in 3V thinned and reprofiled until it is a fearsome laser

one that . . . is there day after day at work , then gets the weekends and evenings off to rest .

Well how about one pouch full. The Cold Steel above gets rotated out but this pouch is ALWAYS there on the belt anytime I am at work or in my home shop. The best precision pliers I could find or ever hope for, scissors I can use left handed (think bandaging my right hand), magnifying glass, a super thin super shallow angle !! SLICER !! (the little SAK Bantom) . . . on the larger knives the two large blades are single bevel ("chisel grind"), one left and one right, used for various things including marking out woodworking precision joinery.

well you asked :)

Sent via telegraph with the same fingers I use to sip whiskey.

Speaking of my pouch of SAK goodness; see photo in a previous post above . . . I needed to trim the length of two of the screws in my Urban Trapper mod and it occurred to me that the precision pliers in the SAK Mechanic from that set would be perfect. The scallops that make up the large "teeth" in the jaws fit around these torx screws as if they were made to do it. They are the only pliers I have, that are thin enough to not rub on the grinder stone and I have ALOT of little pliers . Needle nose are the closest other than that and they would not grip as well and would leave dings on the screw threads. Love these pliers.

I have multiple sebenzas but the large plain 21 is my normal carry for work.

Both my Griptillians, wayfarer 247 and zt0450cf are work knives. My sebenza or Inkosi will be used as well (just cant figure out which one to buy now)

This is my for real edc. Lol. Usually it's either a Delica 4 or a PM2 depending on where I'm going that day. With that said, I just picked up a GEC 71 Bullnose that will probably be getting a lot of work pocket time. I am a security service technician by trade- so I'm in and around the sheepole a lot. My ZT 0301 gets a lot of the wrong attention at some locations. Lol.

I've got some great knives, but this is my most expensive.. It's also the one I go to when I want something done with brute force and little care. Indestructible.
