Brian, What do you think of the WC Umnum? I have a Small WC Starbenza (currently being nuked) that I really like. I've been considering getting an Umnum.

So far I'm loving it. It's a big change from my old Umnum with the newer pivot, overtravel disc, and the WC handle design but the blade is nice and sharp, it's nice and smooth, and a heck of a looker. :)

Spent the morning breaking down boxes with it but it's still less than 24-hours old so no long-term opinions yet.

Sure is comfy in the hand.

I gotta say, I think I prefer the looks of the new pivot on the Wilson Zaan. Anyone with me on this? Seems to enhance rather than distract from the slab texture.

Brian, is that pivot screw counter-sunk into the slab, or does it sit on top?

It sits on top of the slab.

Pivot and handle screws are similarly domed too.

They both work for me.



 
Anyone have a 25 and an Umnumzaan? Can't decide if they are to similar to warrant having both
