Showcase at Smokey Mountain Knife

There is a small building attached to smokey mountain knife works. The guys name is ken kelgin and his wife is paula. Very interesting people, I met them down here in florida they taught me and Mrs. Tactical how to knap! Just wondering if any of you all have met him or seen his shop?
 
i live 20 minutes away but stuck in kentucky for a couple months working.now i got more reasons to wanna go home.
 
Ill be heading on over this weekend. Very lucky to live by smkw. Excited to see them and will probably pick up my first (probably of many to come) ESEE.

Where?SMKW or just to Sevierville? Last time i frickin went the LAMA(Latin America Motro Cycle Assocation) was there, not to mention the frickin tourists in Cades Cove....holly crap have u never seen a deer?:jerkit: LMAO "oh look how cute"....looked like dinner to me:D

That whole area is one big cluster f*%k! If I'm going to the Smokys or Gatlinburg I usually go over the mountain from the Cherokee side since there's not as much traffic that way. On the weekend, by the time you get off I40 at the SMKW exit it is a slow crawl all the way into Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.
 
I just live about an hours drive from SMKW and although I love the place I find it easier to order off of their web site then fight the traffic. I would like to check out the new display though so if no one else gets pics I can run by there next weekend.

Yup, the bad thing with Cherokee , at least the way I go, is that it seems that it takes forever. I love the Smokies but after the last time we went not in a hurry to go back. The tourists are getting more annoying and drive crappier every time we go.lol
Oh BTW "Wonder Works" sucks balls and is the biggest tourists trap I have ever been to in my life! Has anyone been to the Titanic exhibit yet?
 
Cool, I can't wait to get back to the smokies and smkw is one of my intended destinations.
