Showed My Tiny Buddy How To Make Fire !!!

I had to get out today and walk some of that halloween party beer off from last night !!!

It started to rain so while I looked for a sheltered site, Maisy was looking at something else.....

Man she had the hots for this guy and soon wandered off leaving me behind.....

I soon found a nice spot and this where I met my little buddy, Nobby the newt. He said I could share his log as long as I showed him how to make a fire !

This sounded a fair deal so I got out my knife and got to work.....

I made some tiny fatwood curls.....

Nobby checked out my fire steel....

A few strikes later we had fire !

Maisy came back quite upset because her new boyfriend had been called away.....

I told her to take a swim to take her mind off him !

After a pleasant rest I packed my kit back up and said goodbye to Nobby before heading back !

Great pics and story Pit.... But i must agree with maisy her new BF is better looking. Compare to her other hiking partner.. Im sure he smells more intresting as well... *L*

When Horn Dog asked me if I wanted it I had to really think about it because I couldn't have accepted his offer if I'd thought that I wouldn't use it. All the negative comments on here nearly had me decline his offer but boy I'm glad I didn't now !!!;)
