I am ashamed but happy to say that I wasn't even aware of this forum. I swear I see a different one every couple of weeks. Anyhow I posted this on the traditional forum and thawk suggested I ask here.
I will try to post a pic later but my favorite knife as a boy and teen was a Schrade which I think I have seen called a "Walden" 896 "butter and molasses". I still have it and in fact bought its twin on ebay recently. Can someone give me details or direct me to a book on the Scrade Walden's history? They appear to be pre Old Timer and Uncle Henry? Is there a book on Schrade history? Thanks
