I should explain a little here: I just got back into Busse after a LONG hiatus with one very early A2 offering back in the early 90s. I've got a couple of small users (AD and GW) and a couple of big users (NMSFNO LE and NMFBM) and two BATACs. The BATACs are great, but not EXACTLY the camping knife I'd like to carry. I'll have one of them in my hunting bag along with the NMSFNO when I go out after whales in a few months. However, I'm thinking I'm going to have somebody like Ban re-grind one of my BATACs into what I think I really want (yes, I'll post pictures when I get it.)
So why did I get them? When I saw a ABA in another thread a little while ago, I thought it might be perfect. It's VERY close. I ordered a BAIII and the SHSJ from a member here and I'm VERY impressed with them. However, I don't want a blade sitting around in a drawer somwhere where it won't be appreciated more. I don't like safe queens most of the time, I can't see me keeping these creatures in a drawer when they're itching to get out and draw blood (or something, anyway.) Somebody else needs to get something more out of these than I will.
If nobody wants them, I'll keep popping them up here occasionally. I'm not in any hurry to sell them, so I can be patient to find the right owner eventually. If you want one of these classics, let me know. Until then, you can all rest assured they're in a home where they're appreciated, if not used enough.

Okay, I guess I'm not too good at advertising these things yet. To answer a few more questions, both knives are uncarried, unsharpened in new condition. The 3/16" BAIII is fully coated black, the 1/4" SHSJ has a black blade with a polished spine.
