SOLD!!!! Hey guys. Trust me, I would not be selling this, my grail, if it wasn't for losing my job and now needing the funds to finish paying off for an engagement ring to pop the question to my girl. But, yes, it really hurts to let this one go, especially at this price.
This is an old school, straight handle with rope cut, SATIN JACK that was stripped by the previous owner. It has the traditional "ROPE CUT Handle." The knife is amazing. In hand, its as quick as lightning, and feels MUCH better balanced to me, than any of the other "boss" jacks. This is truly a fantastic knife. It took me a while to get this one, and I didn't think I would ever sell her.
She has black canvas handles, stripped blade(Naked INFI!), with a convex zero grind from Garth at the Busse shop. It has been used by me on one camping trip only. Anyone who knows about this knife knows this blade is a rare one to find. The blade has some scuffs on her from using her on that camping trip, but just minor scuffs. I tried to capture it in one of the pics, but i don't know how good you can see it. Again, just a few minor scratches or scuffs. Trust me, the knife is beautiful! especially with the Nekkid Infi! And, still sharp!
She is 3/16" thick, perfect for chopping AND slicing!!! Balanced perfect on the first rivet!
I paid 650 for this knife.
Then, I bought the sheath from Martin Swinkels, and had him custom fit it to the knife all the way in the Netherlands. As you can see, possibly the coolest sheath ever! It is leather, with a kydex shell, and has all the bells and whistles. The sheath with the leather and kydex together just goes perfect with the knife. The sheath can be worn MANY different ways.
It can be worn with the tec lok, either vertical or horizontal. Also can be worn with the special Molle Clips, either horizontal or vertical.
I also had Mr. Swinkels handmake a drop leg attachment out of green nylon to match. Also comes with a leg strap for your thigh when wearing the drop loop. And, of course, it has a fire steel holder, with the fire steel.
You can wear this knife any of the above ways, or mix and match any combinations of them, or of course, just take off the drop loop and wear as a simple regular sheath.
The molle clips are attached to a custom double leather strap that wraps around the sheath, like you can see if some of the pics.
The kydex can be removed if need be from the leather inner sheath if you need to clean it, with the drain hole at the bottom. This sheath alone is a work of art. When I bought the knife I looked around for a very long time before I found Martin Swinkels, and his work is the best I have seen yet, although there are other makers that make beautiful sheaths on here too. And, of course, you get some hardware for securing the different attachment methods.
Again, it really hurts to get rid of this one, it is my favorite knife ever, but I need to get this ring before she changes her mind!!:
I paid $650 for the knife. And, with shipping and all the different options, the sheath cost me $250 custom made from the Netherlands. I am selling this below cost because I need the money quicker rather than later, and can't afford to wait on this too long.
Anyway, all together I paid $900.
