I´m finishing a knife with bocote at the moment. Beautifull stuff!
I gave a cut off bit to someone who makes jewelery. She was amased with the black/yellow colour.
BTW nothing wrong with collecting wood. I just got some beautifull red/yellow rosewood and some snakewood.
Snakewood in person is even better then it is on pics....
