Yeah, Bully. Why? And let's get some hats while we're at it. Black or OD with the old Swamp Rat logo (like the one on the INFIcoot) in Silver or Gold lettering.
There were some hats made by Shane over on SwampShack, but I don't know if he has anymore. They were black with "the SWAMP" logo'd in green or orange.
As for shirts I think the only one that ever had any Rat reference was the Busse group shirt that had a HOG, a RAT and DOG on it.
I agree 100% that we need our own apparel. SInce I only have Rats, my Busse hat and shirts, which are sweet, kinda send the wrong message. Jerry gets enough advertisement from his piggies.
While we are on the subject do any of you guys or gals have any graphic design training. I know mymindisamob over on Busse has done some cool graphics with Busse as the theme. I would love to talk about some designs I have in my head that we could use for stickers, patches, shirt, hats, etc. I know that we would have to run all of this by the Busse clan, but I really think it's time we had some cool gear that we could use to represent SRKW in public. Walking around with a Rat Daddy strapped to your hip may get looks, but I'm not sure that's the type of advertising the general public is ready for.
You have the right idea Mike. I am sure there is a lot of talent on this forum that could come up with some great ideas, and I know we all know people outside this forum that are talented artists to get these ideas on paper.
I also all for listing these ideas here. I am not an artist, but I think we could get the others here to take the listed concepts us less artistic types have and help turn them into a visual reality.
Crack open your skulls Rats, and let some creativity flow out!
Go get 'em Paddler. We need your Moderator-muscle on this pronto. A little Bully nudgin' is good for everyone.
There's been a Busse Tattoo thread floating around over there. I have been giving it some thought lately and since Rats are my thing blade wise I have been focusing on a design. I'd be happy to share that with you guys, but I get first dibs on permanently dyeing my arm with it. You'll have to be patient though. I don't want to let an incomplete idea free out there.
