Sibert Scout incoming.....

That IS SWEEEET!!! I love that knife! I AM a Sibert fan, as you know. Yes, his knives ARE worth the wait!

Tom, my Official Postal Carrier is well loved here at the Casa!

I will carry it, and use it lightly...it is too perfect......understand that the true secrets of the perfection of design will never be revealed.:)

The guard is right for medium to large hands to absolutely ensure no slippage forward....Shane has really put a lot of thought into this piece.

BTW, JoeShredd...I DO own an Ontario Quartermaster knife....and the Scout is ABSOFRIKKINLUTELY a BETTER and more modern interpretation of this knife...was going off my gut when ordering, but a side by side comparison shows how far blademaking has come.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I like it too!
Satin flats, mosaic pins and black canvas micarta.
Nice leather completes the package.
As a survival/tactical knife this one's a home run, imo.
Congrats STeven and enjoy!!

Doug

STeven,
Glad it was worth the wait.
Remember, my observation is based soley on the visual and a bias to the origional. To tell the truth, I'd love to use that puppy and see how it really handles...
Nice aquasition.

I'm glad you're going to use this knife.

Everything about it screams 'hard use' to me, from the razor sharp edge to that stylish single guard (doesn't seem too long to me), to the no-nonsense butt cap.

It would be a shame to put it in the safe or even in a display case. Take it to the field and see what it can do ... first.

Oh -- and consider posting use pics for the rest of us. :D
