Sicarus- Cousin of the Karamibt?

Hey, everyone. Just saw a thing on Youtube about the Sicarii & apparently they used knives called the "sicarus." It was curved & looked somewhat like a karambit- no finger ring, though. Just thought it was interesting. Anyone have information on this knife or its use?
