Hello boys and girls,
I posted some pictures a month or so ago featuring my first purchace of Rat Cutlery Knives, Rc4, Rc5 and Izula....Bought them just because of reviews off youtooooob ...and a bit of research... all in one hit from KSF ( all hail ), love them ..... I didn't know about this forum untill after I bought my Rc's, Glad I joined blade forums......

Well, well ....I now am infected.. ( I cut my finger quite bad on the Rc6 after 24 hours together....., I will post a picture, you will all laugh, then go " OUCH!! ")

Here are the 2 new additions to the family + what I got from KSF(all hail) at the same time,

KSF are not free to Scotland, They charge $12, here is what it cost them...

"The defence rests ...." ( BIG fan of KSF, can you tell???)

I loved my previous knives ,and HAD to have the Rc6 ( and another Izula ), BUT I hated the sheath, SORRY all!! but there was something about it visually I did not like....
I love the Rc3 sheath in the tan, plastic nss, IT works , but the colour, size, number of lashing holes , plastic 'nsss of it.... I don't know what put me off the sheath for the Rc6, but something did.....+ when I showed Mrs Catpuss she said ,.. without missing a beat " I don't like that.. "

Then I saw a thread from Chesnut ridge knife shop...

New Rc6 Kydex sheath, ( read the thread ...LOL) lets just say I wanted one..

So here is the familly, The Rc3 is from ( Rat cutlery)/Chestut ridge knife shop, (I was looking around after I ordered the sheath), WE all do it..., (... I may aswell get a Rc3 at the same time ....LOL )The Rc6 + Izula from KSF ( All Hail )

OK its the tan version, with wierd lighting....... BUT a white one ????????? I will take 2

Oh dude! I would snatch up a storm trooper edition in a heartbeat! Good lookin batch of RATs you got there.
 
I like the looks of the one that appears white. I'd spring for a white one. Of course, with my luck, I would take it out in the snow, drop it, and... argh!

Thanks for all the photos. Nice collection. How do you like the handle of the RC-6 versus the RC-4? I like my RC-4, but the handle doesn't feel quite right. It's the curve of the guard that bothers me. I'm wondering if that feels better on the RC-6.

Horses for courses as far as the handle is concerned, The Rc4's handle is about right relative to the knife (It could be half an inch longer in my meager oppinion ), The 6's handle, for my hands feels great.

Why don't you get an Rc6 and find out yourself:D
 
The four is a good size, but is small in my hand. The 6 attaches itself to my wrist directly and becomes one with my arm. (it feels very good and is quite larger than the four)
 
Nice collection you got there. I am really liking that blue paracord wrap on the Izula. How is the quality on that paracord by the way?

Sorry to hear about your injury. Now you can rest assured that the RC6 is definitely yours and hopefully will be more careful in the future. How does the RC6 stack up with the RC4? I might pick one up in the future for hiking.

Oh, one last thing - where's the cat?!

You know-it's been a while since we let the, "What # is your Izula" thread die, but seeing they are up to 3305 is amazing! I forget, is there only one of each number or is there a black 3305, a tan 3305, etc?
 
I still have a couple more to compete my colection. (RC-6, RC-4) If I could just stop buying Izulas, I have 3 now:)
 
Nice collection you've got going. I think I'm going to place an order for one of those KSF strops today.
