It's stabilized with epoxy resin and knot of the ito wrap goes through the hole at the end of the tang. It's super solid handle. Guard aka turkshead knot is tightened around the tang and epoxied aswell.

I recently got one of these, it's very well done. Lucas was easy to deal with, great communication. I've got somewhere around 20 cord wrapped knives, his is made as well as any of them.

To keep everything uniform, I'll stick to leather sheaths. Whole package was designed for concealed carry. I've tested it for past 3 months carrying it every day for whole day and this sheath works beautifly, for IWB especially. Different steels or sheaths are available for individual comissions.
I'll be making 5-6 pieces with different wrap color options. Blade finish and sheath will stay unchanged.
