Sierra Forge and Fire

Thanks for the kind words from Josh,Rob and Nick. This last year and a half has really been exciting. Being asked to create a bladesmithing school from the ground up that would take a student from the very begining to advance knife classes was at times over whelming. However with the help of my freind Tim Hancock who helped creat the curriculum for the fundamental courses and who is now the Program Director for Sierra F&F we have created a school that is world class. Before I make this sound like this all happened because of Tim and myself I really want to thank the Founder of this project, Christopher Dery. Without Chris's vision and commitment for a school of the Fire Arts,Blacksmithing,Bladesmithing,Glass Blowing and Ceramics.None of this would never of come about. If you want a learning experiance that truely will last a life time, please consider Sierra Forge and Fire.

Hope to see you soon

Nick,

I think maybe the" Director of Time Management" !!!

Michael

P.S. Though you would have to change your "normal "working hours, from when it's dark to maybe 8:00am to 5:00pm, scheduled school hours.

Someone said something about putting a Microbrewery next door. What a combination. I also brew my own beer, and often grind a blade in the morning, and start a batch in the afternoon, they just seem to go together.

Rob F. I saw about 5 or 6 nice looking grinders in one of those shop pics. I guess they are going all first class.

Frank,

That is a very generous compliment...Thank you!

SFF actually has 9 KMG grinders. 8 for the students plus a roll-around demo set-up for the instructor.
