Sights in Nature.

Hey they are great pics Magneto ! How close did you get to them ?

Thanks, about 10 to 15 feet out. I cheated. I was in the house when mom showed up. I went down stairs where I had a window with no screen. I have a little food plot, but for some reason they like to browse the longest right next to the house where I am trying to grow some rocks. Go figure.

I dont know where he was I just saw the web one morning while deer hunting. With the dew on the web and the sun light hitting it just right it turned out pretty good.

For those who might be looking for some tips on photography (most about knife photography) follow the link in my sig. Some of the links on that tips 'n techniques page have died since I put it up, but there's still a bunch of good info to find there.

Now on to the pics.....

Not technically in the wild.... actually in a greenhouse in Japan. But the trip to Japan was wild! ;) :D Not sure what species it is, but I thought the shape and colors were interesting.

One last one. I put this one on my wife's desktop background and she thought he was just so cute, so I will share it with everyone.

Thanks for the link to the tips. I am always looking to improve my skills.

Where at? Very cool pics. I gotta get a tripod!

Those are some great shots. If a man wanted a good digital camera to take photos of this quality, what would be a good choice?

Okay, here's a few:

Not as wild as they should be. The tigers are from the zoo in Tacoma and the birds are from the aviary at the zoo in Honolulu.

I don't know who you are talking to SGB but I have a Canon G7. About the size of a point and shoot. It takes good pictures if I do my part.

Evolute (and others as well :)), those are some excellent photos, what camera (it's DSLR, isn't it?) do you use?

I'll add some (Canon S50 P&S compact):

That's a Hibiscus rosasinensis (spelling?), quite common here in the tropic. They come in variety of color and shape.
