Signature Not Showing on Posts

I have the feeling I'm missing something obvious, but here goes. I added an avatar and a signature today. The avatar (Mia the rescue Pointer) shows up fine. The signature shows up on my profile page, but not at the end of my posts. How can I get it to appear there?

Update: Well, the signature just showed up here! So, as best I can tell, as soon as you add the avatar, it appears in all your posts, including prior ones. The signature only shows up in posts made from that point on?
 
I'm facing the same thing... (HINT-This is a "test" post too...!) ;)

EDITED TO ADD: Looks like you're right on the signature-I haven't added an avatar yet.

IF you change your sig line OR your avatar from here on out as a paying member....... ANY and ALL post you have made and will make will change to that.......
And IF you change it/them again....... they will ALL change again.......

Clear as mud?:confused:

T.A., I guess I'm still confused. My post above occurred after I added the signature and shows it. Posts I made after becoming a gold member, which was on 1/18, but before I added the signature, do not show the signature. For example, here (last post in thread): http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/s...-while-Traditional-Content-Free-Stuff-p/page3

So, in other words, I'm still thinking avatars are retroactive, but signatures aren't. NBD, but that's what it looks like to me.

That's correct. Your current avatar will show on all of your posts. If you change your signature, it will change on all of the posts made after adding the original signature for the first time. Posts made before that will not show any sig line.

Yep, Danny nailed it---signatures change on posts retroactively, but only as far back as when you first added a signature. For posts before you had any signature, they remain that way---without any signature at all. Just did a quick experiment to see for myself, and that's it.
