This is a signup for the around the world passaround. I'll add names and countries to the bottom of the post as I get organized and people repond.

The Knife

It's a DK model, non locking, s30v, sepcially engraved with a logo of the passaround and a email address on the reverse.

The Goal

The goal is for this knife to go around the world person by person, which each person signing in and if possible adding a picture of themselves and knife at something interesting point or local where they live. Can you use the knife? Sure. But please remember it is not a knife abuse test.

The Rules

- You must be of legal age for your local jurisdiction to possess and carry the knife.

- You must accept and pay any charges resulting from the receiving or sending of the knife to the next person in the passaround, including to other countries.

- You must securely package the knife when sending it, with proper postage, and if available, some kind of confirmation.

- Please confirm via email with the person you are sending it to BEFORE you send it, so that they know it's arriving.

- Please post a picture as described above.

- Depending on participation, we may need to limit this to a certain number of people too each country so it makes reasonable progress on the way arounf the world.

The Process

- I'll start moving the list of people over from the previous thread.

- Post here with your name and the country you are in. Email me you're real name, real address and phone. Use my email address for DaveH to respond with your info.

- When we get a reasonable list to get started the knife will go out, and we'll continue to add people as we go.

- There is an email address on the knife itself, satwp@mindspring.com , that is in case someone needs a contact or information about the knife should it become disconnected from thelist. That email goes to me.

- If I have forgotten something I'll add it here.

I'm in Toronto, Canada. I'd be happy to participate with some photos of the knife with local attractions.
 
I see my name for Florida, cool. Now if you need someone in Asia, I am going home to the Philippines in December and can take a pciture of it in front of the Lapu Lapu statue in Mactan Island.
 
Most likely, I'll be able to, but first I need to scout a location that has a good view, but won't have people calling the police if I take out a knife and start taking pictures.

Come to think of it, they'd probably arrest me on suspicion of terrorist activities (taking pictures of national symbols isn't as touristy as it once was:().

I just wanted to say that this is a really cool idea. I don't have interest in the passaround but I do think that it is a really neat thing you guys are doing here. :thumbup:

I think I'm up to date. If you have sent me info check that I have GOT INFO by your name. Let me know if I missed you.

If interested just PM or email a short block of info that I can cut-n-paste into a test file. It should look like this:
