Ok so here is my chance at a review.

Received this passaround yesterday from its maker, siguy. First impression is that its got just enough of a cord-wrapped handle for my hands. I like a bit of extra handle to scoot around on...
Cord wrap is very comfy and the size for carving is great. Very easy to control.
I shaved a bit of paper, knife has a nice sharp edge, then decided to work on a wooden spoon using it and a hook knife. I shaped most of the spoon with my enzo (thanks tarmix!) then did some shaving with the little guy and hollowing of the bowl with the hook knife (hooker?). Take it easy on the spoon, it's my first attempt.
I am going to use it on some boxes at work and drag it around in my pocket all day to see how the comfort is for a pocket fixed EDC.

Mr. j williams can expect this to come his way shortly. Thanks siguy!

I hope siguy doesn't mind me saying this, but he's only about 16 years old. He joined us at the CT wilderness gathering. He has impressed me personally with his maturity on the forums, and impressed me even more in person with his maturity and true talent for sharpening knives.

It's refreshing to find a young person who is not only enthusiastic about outdoors living, but truly has a "knack", who is truly a natural at nature.

That is great to hear Brian. Seems all we get to read about today is how our youth is going to hell in a handcart. Not saying it is, but that is all that is ever mentioned for the most part.

Siguy, nice knife and good on ya for getting to the CT Wilderness gathering. Seems you made at least one friend.;):D

Nice post Brian.........

Nice review rocky, I cant wait for it to get to me to play with.... Looks like a good blade!!

thanks for the kind words guys.

glad to hear that the knife is performing well. i just got in a bar of O1 yesterday...can't wait to start grinding!

What a neat little beater! Now when are you going to start selling these little buggers? :D

Oh and lets keep this thread updated. I would love to see some fuzz sticks! :D

Well, I used it yesterday at work. Cut some packing straps and cardboard-worked very well. I like how small and compact it was in my back pocket, and it is easy to conceal from the sheeple in the mall. I get a lot of grief from my coworkers about my EDC---a Light my Fire knife. They think the blade is too long and it looks "scary". I always tell them they wouldn't want to go camping with me then...and I certainly don't tell them about the backup knife I have in my bag!

It came a little toothy...I have not touched it up at all. Not sure what else I might use it for so I doubt I will mess with sharpening it. Is it coming to you next? When is your trip?

I leave on the 30th. If you send it on the 26th that will give it plenty of time to reach me. Nice fuzz stick bro! looks like its a heck of a shaver!

good to hear you like it.

i started grinding my new O1 yesterday, with a couple of blades planned for this weekend.

Nice work, Siguy. I like the handle shape particularly.
Neat cord wrap too.

It is a nice little knife. Maybe siguy will make one for us...eh? Hear that? It's called a BIG hint...:D

I have Monday off so will stop at post office and flip it your way.

Like Brian, I got to spend some time with Siguy at the CT Gathering.

He handles a knife well, and was able to show Kev and Brian a few things about sharpening convex edges.

This young man earned my respect.
