SOLD - I bought this knife at Chris Reeve's shop in Idaho around Christmas of 2014. Sikayo is the Zulu word for "sharp"! The cutting edge of the Sikayo is exceptional and truly lives up to the name. The broad blade is ground only on one side for outstanding slicing; the cutting edge has a good curve that allows cutting with minimal pressure; the curve also facilitates "rocking" dicing of vegetables and herbs. The handle on the side against your palm is thicker than the other side, offering a comfortable hold without pressure; the full tang and the grooves in the UItem 1000 give excellent radial grip. This knife is dedicated to right-handed use!

Chris Reeve no longer makes these; this one is NIB and ready for a new home.

SOLD - This listing is for a NEW Chris Reeve Knives: Nyala Insingo. I am the original purchaser of this knife. It has remained new in the box ever since purchase, and that box was in the gun safe. The high-quality sheath is made of leather and is treated to be water resistant.

The Nyala is a Southern African antelope found in dense forested areas and is one of Chris's favorite African animals. They are prevalent in the Mkuze Game Reserve in the northern KwaZulu Natal region of South Africa - one of Chris's favorite areas. Nyala (pronounced Nn-yaal-a) is the Zulu and Swahili name for this handsome antelope.

Completely unused. Comes with the original box, sheath, and birth certificate.

SOLD - This is my skinning knife, and I bought it from Chris Reeve Knives in Boise, Idaho around Christmas 2003. It shows some wear on the handle, but as a tribute to the quality of the knife, the blade is perfect. I have the original birth certificate, warranty card, and even the oil it came with. I have a CRK box, but it is not the original one.

This Ubejane Skinner from Chris Reeve features a nonreflective black Kalgard finish with a clip-point A2 blade with a false top edge, notched thumbrest, .198" blade stock, and 1.716" blade depth, integral construction. The handle is knurled for a solid grip and has a removable aluminum butt cap with lanyard, there is storage area inside the handle. Comes with a black leather sheath. Excellent condition. 4.25" blade, 9.125" overall.
I sent it off to Chreeve Reeve to sharpen it; it is super sharp and ready.

The leather sheath supplied with the Skinner has a strap closure that passes from left to right around the cross guard. To ensure that the knife does not fall from the sheath should the strap become unfastened, there is a nylon stud in place above the cross guard on the right-hand side.
