the steel they use(d) in the bucklite knives, are/were they the same type of steel that is used in the 110/112? probably a silly question-but I don't know.

silly question about blade steel, bucklite .vs. 110/112

thank ye kindly 110, just the info I was looking for.
They are all 420HC from 1994 forward.
They were all 425M from 1981 through 1993.
They were all 440C prior to 1981.
THANKS FOR THE CLARIFICATION. I OWN A BUCKLITE AND AM JUST STARTING TO APPRECIATE IT. LIGHTWEIGHT, GOOD KNIFE.

Hey Buck110... have you ever seen Rockwell hardness values for these 3 steels? I'm more or less just curious. Not trying to start a "which steel is better" agrument.
