Silly question on stock knife sheaths

Does the KA-BAR sheath age nicely? I got one for my Cold Steel Leatherneck about a few years ago. I wonder if I’ll need to replace the sheath 10 years down the line lmao. Mine’s holding up pretty well so far. Minimal maintenance too.
 
They do age nicely. They are easy to find sturdy and cheap. So I use it as a beater for my Randall or any other 7” knife.
