Eda-koppo - The Japanese Knife magazine will often have photos of "concept" knives that we do not permit in US or European publications. Partly because they will normally publish "concept" knives in that magazine and the ELU do not assume they are all going into production.

In the case of the "trainers", yes they are scheduled for production but we are still working out the grnds and there are no dates yet.

Haven't seen the mag yet so I don't now which model with the thumb stud you are referring to.

I've seen it in a lot of posts on the archives, and I've racked my brain to figure out what it means. Any clues, people?
