that is awesome !!
I sure as hell wish I didnt have so much $$$ tied up in Escrow right now on the new house .

Any chance of getting one of these made like this later on this year ? or perhaps a pair with one in Silver G10 and 1 in CF ?

What is the blade length on this one ?

once again.... a classy clean looking design.

:D

45 guy,I am sure something could be arranged, I like to do something different each time i build a knife so nothing gets mundane.:) Just contact me when you are ready...

the OAL is 7.25 with 3 inches worth of grind...

No I dont really think so, i took 12 knives to Blade East and left with 2 and all that without a table. That and the drive from North Carolina tends to be a bit long...:)

But if you change you mind and decide to give in the the temptation let me know...

Alan, I tried to e-mail you about something, but like fisherk, my message got bounced.

I suppose I'll just say it here in the open.

First off, nice knife - I can see why you've been successful in selling your work.

But secondly, you wrote something that caught my eye.

i took 12 knives to Blade East and left with 2 and all that without a table

I want to point out that makers and dealers who make the financial commitment to attend a show don't want to compete with those who don't. After all, if you can forego the expense of a table, you can translate that lower overhead into lower retail prices on your knives, which can cost the other makers a sale or two. In order to protect paying tableholders from such behavior, promoters who catch you selling your knives at a show without paying for the right to do so will ask you to leave and might bar you from attending future shows. It's considered a major breach of etiquette, so I want to make sure you're aware of it. If I misinterpreted your comments, perhaps I'm not the only one, and a little clarification might be helpful.

Anyway, sorry to barge in like this, but as I mentioned, your e-mail address wouldn't accept my message, and besides, this discussion may benefit others who might have been unaware of the proper etiquette.
