A gentleman on the exchange traded me a necker II for an izula and candiru. I hadn't really felt the overwhelming need for a necker, but I never used the ESEE's and he was willing to trade. Win/win

More from me later on when I get a chance to handle it a little. New spec sheath

Thanks, guys!

My first impressions:

It is bigger than I thought it would be, not to say that is good or bad. For the size of my hands there is plenty of room in the ring and the handle fills my grip.

Awesome sheath.

Very comfortable to hold, not a single hotspot... as I was slicing paper :D

I'm the third owner so this next part has no reflection on Guy, but the knife is not shaving sharp. Slices paper like it's cutting through air, but it scrapes off dead skin without cutting a hair on my arm. Could the first owner have dulled it by unsheathing and resheathing or is it more likely the knife is not truly unused as advertised?

For me it is too heavy to wear as a neck knife. Compared to a paracord wrapped izula with small plastic sheath, the substantial kydex and micarta add up. Although I barely felt it on my belt and I would guess the same on a pack strap. I took off the clip and put it in my pocket and forgot it was there. Really nice.

I'm really glad I finally have one of these so I could see what I've been missing. I can see why these are carried and used as much as they are.

I'll trade you a brand new black Izula and a super cool pink Spyderco Native 5 that I can't force myself to carry! Haha!!

Tempting..........

What I really need is somebody who wants what I got and is willing to part with a 4.1!

I heard someone say that the pink Native 5 is actually stronger. I might be lying though!

Nice trade.

I really like that new sheath.

I've gotta say, back when I had my Izula, I always had it on me. Really good knife. Compact and lightweight as you mentioned.

No necker 2 for me yet. Still hoping I get lucky when the 2nds hit the store.

Yea I still hasn't got a new sheath. I'm thinking of just replacing the whole set up with a new one when the come out.

Good deal silver. They make a great utility blade. Enjoy it.

Nice find. It's surprising how fast paper can dull a knife. Just playing or simply opening mail.

No updates? Not cool!

To be honest, I hadn't totally made up my mind on this sweet little blade. I kept going back and forth about using it or keeping it in its unused state to trade off later.

Great size and super comfortable, that's about as much of an opinion as I have right now :)
