Silver Series Knives

Hello Folks,

I'm new to the Forum so bear with me if I mess up somewhere along the line.... My question is regarding the Buck Silver Series knife that had the acorns and oak leaves design work - at least I think it was a Silver Series knife. I picked up 3 on my yearly trek to SMKW in Oct for Christmas gifts and ended up liking them so much I called SMKW to get more. Bottom line was they said they were some kind of one-time good deal thing and that they had no more, and no more info regarding them.

And, I haven't been able to find them on either the Buck webpage or any page for that matter that handles Bucks....

My main question regards if they are still being made... If they are, or are not, can anyone point me to a person/dealer that carries these particular knives...

Hello John,

First of all welcome to BladeForums.com!!!!

Now for the matter at hand. I was browsing around E-Bay the other day and I seen one of them on there. I just checked it out and low and behold there are 2 of them on there that are ending today (better hurry). I don't know who the guy is that has them, I did not check his feedback. Anyway The item #'s are 220205787 and 220237512. Let me know how it turns out.

Thanks for the info Gene and for pointing me toward this site! I looked this morning after seeing your msg but didn't go for it.... The guy wanted $10 to ship the thing and I thought that was just a weeeeee bit too much. May be the reason he didn't have any bids on it....

Also, I hope your proud of yourself for getting me started on this forum stuff!! I spent most of the morning on this thing looking for knives and info when I should have been out working (yuk) or finishing Christmas shopping... I'll think about you on those cold nights when I'm out in the dog house...

Seriously though, if anyone there at Buck sees this, or anyone else knows if this line of knifes has been discontinued I'd sure appreciate finding some dealer out there with a few left they'd like to get rid of. I believe the numbers are BU-2442 525OL.
