"Silverback" Black Tiger AD... A Few Pix :o)

Now that's my style of knife :) Do you think about enlarging the choil as well? You did a really nice job with the handle!

0h, heck yeah, but I don't have any tools, and it would take a lotta time and ALL of my patience to do that by hand... What did you use to do you choil? A Dremel tool? I have the itch to try more types of mods on others... :D:thumbup:

My FIRST Busse AD, bought used from the Exchange, with a Custom Shop enlarged choil... And soon my LrMe LE will be back from Busse after its choil gets enlarged.

I dunno what, but today I feel really run down... Maybe I inhaled too much micarta & infi dust?? LOL, probably just a summer cold,:yawn:

The handle was hand done, not perfect, but smooth and nice in the hand... Has a few dimples left, but I kinda like them so I'll leave 'em on this user. Also the tube fasteners are a little uneven from one side to the other, so I didn't want to take the handle down too far to the tops of the fasteners.

:) Irezumi, No stripper, all sandpaper and a rubber sanding block/ my hands... from course to 220 grit. Be sure to exercise caution near the tip, and in the choil. Up to 1500 grit on the high polished Skelly Warden in my other thread followed by some metal polish paste. I was also concerned that I'd affect or weaken coating that I didn't want to remove.

Yes, I used the dremel. You have to be really careful, and go slow. Don't apply too much pressure; let the speed of the tool do the job. And as Ban described, keep a finger near the work area to gauge the heat. Try it! :)
But then again, this knife looks cool as it is now...

what attachment did you use defaultuser?

I hope we get an answer on that Q, inquiring mindz wanna know!

...Meanwhile, the verdict is (for now) a SATIN finished spine... I agree with steelnut, it does have that 'old school' Busse look to it. Thanks for the opinions, mebbe I'll do the next one high polish...
...And BONUS... The sheath that I ordered a little while ago from Oku for another unaltered Milganzaaaaa version AD also fits this one beautifully as well! Thank you, Oku, another excellent sheath is in the house. :D:thumbup:
