Simon Wiesenthal has died.

My, my, my. Is this all that remains of the mighty Aryan propaganda machine? Mr. Wiesenthal did his work well. Only this miserable vermin, squeaking in the darkness, escaped?

Do me a favor and stop quoting the morons. It makes it that much harder to split and remove his racist remarks without having to edit your posts. Please remove your quotes in your posts from those two morons.

Done.

.....

Mr. Weisenthal was truely a great man.

There was a phenomenal movie about him starring Ben Kingsley. The name escapes me at the moment.

BTW is there a sale on morons this morning?

I think Mr. Weisenthal's biggest disappointment was that Josef Mengele known as the "Angel of Death" eluded capture.

Moderators:

Please, I'd like to read what the morons, bigots, racists, a$$holes, etc... are writing.

By censoring them, you are making martyrs out of them. This helps their credibility and damages yours.

So let them make fools outta themselves!

Their racist comments have no place in the Community Forum or BFC for that matter and where removed from this thread. They have not been censored because their comments where not deleted. They were split off to an undisclosed location on BFC. They have no credibility to speak of and I have nothing to worry about with mine. They are both now banned and will continue to be banned should they ever pop back in.

I'd like to read and reply to them. Please disclose the location to me. Thanks.

I think the movie is "Murderers Among Us: The Simon Wiesenthal Story". The world knows the truth, morons will believe any s%^t thrown at them by other morons. Let them sink in there own hate. We know Simon Wiesenthal did the right thing!

Good, I have seen people banned before but I have not seen posts dealt
with before. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

Mr. Wisenthal's memory deserves better than to be shouted at by the lesser
people who do nothing but hate. As a testimony to just how effective that
he was, the little boy wannabe nazi's still react when they hear his name
mentioned. Not bad for a 90+yr old man. They must have really feared him.

Again...their posts have not been erased. They have been split off into a forum that members have no access to. We do not delete posts on BFC. Let's say that they're in quarantine. They're posts are fully intact and can be put back at anytime. But that is not gonna happen because I want this thread to get back on topic.

Ken:

You would've made bigger fools out of them by either challenging them to substantiate their statements, or disproving them. Censorship and name-calling does arouse skepticism, and bigots are unworthy of an audience.

However, if their statements were vulgar, or stereotyped Jews in general, then censoring and banning them for bigotry was totally justified.

I did a search on the web this evening and found lots about Wiesenthal. Most of it was favorable, although he even had critics within the Jewish community. This included accusations of "playing the victim" for personal profit, and hypocrisy for not doing likewise to Jews who had cooperated with the Nazis or communists. Two of his captures were acquitted of the charges against them.

For someone to accuse Weisenthal of such is biased: There are people in every genre who have exploited or committed atrocities for personal fame and profit. Like the Nazis, I would like to see all of them face earthly justice. Unfortunately, that's not going to happen; so we'll have to take what we can get.

DRM, their statements were vulgar, and did stereotype Jews in general, and banning them for bigotry was standard practice here.

"They" were probably one and the same troll, who's been here before. The proper answer to them therefore is: "Go away."

As far as discussing them, that's fine for a forum like the Political Arena or Whine & Cheese, but they don't belong here, and it is tasteless, at the very least, for them to intrude in this thread.

But what else should we expect from the intellectually stunted, morally warped, and culturally deprived? :)

Stop talking about what the trolls said, it only makes people want to read their posts. After all, who doesn't slow down to gawk at an accident or train wreck - no matter how disgustingly gory or repulsive? :p

A truly, great, and deticated man. How much better the world would be with many more like him.

:( Sad indeed. Justice, retribution, and strength under fire are qualities that are universally admired.

One of the most worthwhile days I've spent was at the Simon Wiesenthal Center here. Unlike some other centers I've been to, it doesn't try to sadden or anger as much as it pushes to educate. I would recommend it to anyone in the Los Angeles area.

To the bigot: Find something productive to do with your life. Really.
