Simonich Crowfoot on the way! (pic inside)

I just hold it as I normally would hold a knife. The hole part doesn't feel obtrusive. Don't even notice it. You can put your pinky in there if you are cutting something and would like a little extra security from slipping.

It is made by our very own Rob Simonich:

Mid-Tech, LLC a semi-production manufacturing company that was recently started by a custom knifemaker named Richard Simmons....I mean Rob Simonich. The Mid-Tech line-up uses Rob's designs but produces the knives with CNC technology versus having Rob hand grind each one. Other than that, I'm not sure if there are any significant differences between a Mid-tech knife and one of Rob's knives except that Rob would theoretically give you more materials and model choices... if he were taking orders and didn't move so awful slow for a thin wiry man. ;)

Did I get that right?

How comfortable is the crowfoot in reverse grip? Can you hold the grip comfortably in normal sabre grip without utilizing the pinky ring? Thanks.

It feels pretty natural by utilizing the pinky hole. Doesn't feel so good to me without it.
