My landlord has not, for whatever reason, renewed my lease in more than a year. If the last document I signed does not include the present time in the terms, does that mean I can legally walk out with no notice or rent responsibility on my part?
Nope, continuing to stay in a property is a tacit acceptance of continuing the terms. However if the lease comes to an end you can leave without notice.
