Simple Question: BK11 or BK14?

BK11: Like them so much, I own 3 of them, one in San Mai.

I'm still working on getting a REAL (Camillus), Becker Necker with a thing on the Handle that opens all sorts of Bottles. But, that is a long story. :D

I have the Camillus hanging around my neck right now. It only comes off when I take a shower. However I am NEEDING a San Mai. I have a Ka-Bar, a Ka-bar Serrated, a Cami. The San-Mai is the only one I need left.

I believe we can solve this problem and split the difference. I have a band saw and a welder, the question is do you prefer a BK11 with a San Mai bottle opener & a Camillus blade or a Camillus bottle opener & a San Mai blade? :D:D:D

Both are great knives..i prefere the bk11...the 14 has esee style handle shape which im not a fan of.

I have both, and both are great knives. I find myself reaching for the Eskabar more than the BK-11 these days, however. The available orange/black scale set, the more comfortable handle, it just feels better in hand. I am considering purchasing one of the micarta scale Izula sets, as I've read that they will fit the 14's handle (being a direct Izula carryover/clone). I do love the small fixed blade concept!

I have a BK-14 that has been a favorite of mine for a few years now. I thought I lost it during our recent move. Turned out my wife borrowed it and stowed it in her bottomless purse of mysteries. She placed it on my desk a few days ago and I screamed like a 14 year old girl when I found it again! Never realized I could scream like that...
Currently debating shaping some bone scales for it. I love the look of worn bone handles.

BK14 is my fave because the handle is more comfy for my size mitts. The 11 is a three finger and I can squeeze 4 fingers onto a 14. I also have no use for a bottle opener on the back of my knife because I always carry a bic and open bottles with that.
