Simple Question ???

I used to be a restoration mechanic and could never keep my hands clean. But, i worked with a young lady who's hands were always clean. She told me that she used hand lotion before coming to work and it made it so the grease wouldn't seep into the pores. Worth a try i guess, but i never did. For some reason it made me feel like a hard worker if my hands were dirty.

Exam gloves are the trick, or if you don't feel like it, then washing a load of dishes by hand (putting them in the DW doesn't count) will both clean you up and earn you some points.

I have to wear gloves at work and my hands are still cracked and full of dirt... but coal/coke is just nasty stuff.

Good luck on keeping them clean and crack free.

The same thing can be done with liquid dish soap.

Put it on and rub it in until it is dry.
Your hands don't feel greasy, and they wash up nicely when you are done.

My Fiance like my hands............she says they are the hands of a working man.

I am a welder/fabricator when I am not making knives and I have blacks fingers almost all the time! The best way to get them clean is to use them... Eventually the stains will come out!
