I made this sheath for a folder that my dad carried as a kid and I rescued from a slow death in one of his drawers. I redid the edges and cleaned up the knife. It was a cheap Imperial knife (circa 1950's) that hold an edge great and just needed some pants.

So I made this case:

I then sealed it with Neat's foot and wax combination after rubbing pure Neat's foot into the sheath. I 'stressed' it a bit to make it look a little older and worn.

I think it turned out pretty cool.

Line 20 snaps, double stitched at the stress points and the tinyest bit of carving to break up the monotony.

I don't ever think I've seen a folder sheath that was folded over and sewn on only one side. I really like it.

Damn, man! You're getting better fast! That's some very slick work.

That looks very clean. Great work! I like how this one is slimmer than your other snap sheaths. It looks really, really good.

Once again. Really nice work!

Andy,

Your large blade is setting in a press right now getting formed for its new pants.

The leather is cross grained and should dye nicely! ;)
