Simple Work-Horse Elegance

Hello All,

Yesterday was a big day. The Beast arrived and was exactly what was inspired. An Elegant Camp knife that can will, and can fill it's Role. Not too fancy but eye catching "Simplistic Beauty" IMO in a fixed blade.

Great looking knife, both in materials and design, but not so prettified that you'd have to wonder if you really wanted to use it.

Actually these scales are of Chestnut Burl....

Yep this one will be used on the next camping trip in Spring. Yes I will be somewhat careful, but I need to use it to split me some wood at the fire. 80CRV tool steel will hold up to any wood I can split. Just need to be somewhat careful with the handle.
