The Simplicity series are leukus I make when I get time and creativity- the goal of the series is self explanatory. I'm looking for a smooth finish and overall appearance. In a way, this is a type of art knife for me, and I tend to focus on the overall aesthetic in a different way from a working, wilderness, or combat knife.

V is the longest I've done in the series with an overall length of 11 inches and a blade length of 6 1/4 inches.

Steel is 1084, finished thickness is 1/8 inch. Full quench and temper with a differential temper on the spine. Flats are finished to 800 grit over the forge finish, leaving a lightly pebbled pattern.

Edge is convex, easy to maintain with a strop.

Handle is bocote, with stainless tubing pins. Balance is right at the edge of the front of the handle

Sheath is a black expedition model, with adjustable and removable belt hanger strap. Fully hand harness stitched, and double seamed.

#451

Asking $200, with $10 for insured shipping in the US. Thanks for looking!

i drew my ideal knife today...the only difference was a shorter blade and very slight bird beak at the end of the handle! outstanding sir! I love seeing simple knives...they really bring out the ingenuity in any design. if she had a shorter blade (4-5"), Id be all over it!

it's funny- I made this one longer because I've had several comments in the previous ones saying that a longer one would be nice (and it is!) but my normal instinct in these is for a 3.5 to 4.5 inch blade.
