Since everyone wants a Rat in IFNI I want a Busse in SR101

And with that..here's yet another thread in the BF Swamp that went into N2K RMD conversation. A obviously hot topic.

I wish my Anniversary Mean Streets were SR101 and I wish my M9LE was INFI (although it does quite well the way it is). Small blades = SR101, big blades = INFI. I think the RMD is perfect in SR101. If you guys want an INFI RMD, there are some INFI blades that are very similar to the RMD.
 
Yes, yes, like the SJTAC, or Jackhammer. Don't think we haven't been through this before. Personally, I don't like talon holes.
 
The idea of N2K RMD was a team effort of a few hardy Swamp dwellers who tossed around some 'options' and arriving at a product that would not overturn the production capabilities of the Busse compound.
It keeps getting the votes because is more of a meeting place of what folks would change about the good ole RMD.
Just a different steel and a few tweaks to customise it for a fairly big market.

And one thing that I'd like to see flying Busse flag on not INFI blade would be a diving knife.
If Jerry can improve 52100 by heat treat protocol alone, what could be do with some of the 'super' stainless steels...

I honestly think they should stick to 52100 and INFI because I was extremely sad to see the steak knives only ran at 59 HRC. Elmax really isn't Elmax under 61 HRC.
 
Hard to improve the RMD. but a Infi one would be pretty cool. My SJTAC is pretty close I guess. I will try to take some side by side pics tomorrow.

Some Busses are similar in size but not shape, others similar in shape but not size. Like the Tank Buster...some have similar specs on paper, but they are different shape, etc.
