I love everything about CRK knives except the hollow grinds and low hardness.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
If you want something hi quality, lightweight and USA made, I would check out the Spyderco lwt Manix S110V or the ZT 0770CF. Lots of other choices from those manufacturers.
Benchmade also make nice knives, but they are over-priced relative to the competition and many come in mediocre steal (154CM).
Of course, if money is no object, there are all sorts of custom and mid-tech options. I'm looking forward to getting a Hoback Midtech Kwaiken in due course (more than 4oz of weight, though).
I like Benchmade.
I guess there is too much of a collector in me from my years of knife collecting....I cannot bring myself to carry a RatTrap as it cannot easily be replaced. .
I agree! I love mine!Absolutely. Either the Knifeart.com exclusive Carbon Fiber Large or Small Sebenza depending on the size you prefer. It's available in the standard blade shape as well as the Insingo. Accept no substitute.
Have had a Swamp Rat Rat Trap in my pocket everyday for a decade I think. Havent had a need for anything else. That is until the Busse folder comes out.
