I swapped a knife for some cash and a dozen hats. I use this logo on my knives:

I think a hat with just my name and location on it is dumb, and doesn't say anything about knives. I'd like to add Custom Knives in there somewhere, in the same font.

Question is, should I bracket the big Jason Fry and put
Custom Knives
Jason Fry
Abilene, Texas

Or, should I stack the small print on the bottom where the words make more sense,

Jason Fry
Custom Knives
Abilene, Texas
 
Are you talking about for merch or etching on blades? If for merch, how about stretching and shrinking this logo into a knife shape silhouette
 
My vote is for the latter. List them in order of importance.

Who you are
What you do
Where you are located


In fact, I'm not sure you even need the location. Save that for the business card with phone number. Unless you wanted to try this:

Fry Custom Knives
Abilene, TX
