since were on Spear Points this week-

hi Jeff, with a bit of tinkering I think W2 has more potential when it comes to hamons in general. That said, its a tough race between the 2, and each responds a bit differently to clay thickness, heat etc.

Will try and get some "progress" pics soon.

Say Matt, Its about 5:15 pm here. Hope you are hiding under something. Bad weather headed your way.

Was near Jasper yesterday (on the way to and from Nashville). Maybe some day when I'm not so rushed, and you find time, we can get together and talk blades.

Robert

hi Robert, yep storm just passed, wind was coming out of 2 directions at the same time, reminded me a bit of my old gal Katrina... or maybe her little sister:rolleyes:

any how, if your through this way, give me a call.

Here's is a beautiful spearpoint from Rodrigo Sfreddo that sports some pretty striking giraffe bone. As I know we have many connoisseurs of the giraffe bone here.

Kevin - nice knife, is that new? The pic is well composed but seems overexposed on my display unfortunately.

Not New. I believe it was made in 2006 and was initially sold by Knife Art to some fortunately collector. I don't own it but would be proud to.

This photo does not should the true beauty of the damascus. Knife Art's photo was much more flattering. It's my favorite Sfreddo in spite of the giraffe bone. Almost looks like ivory.

Now that's a FINE Bowie and Sheath.

Don't see as many of these old school bowies form him since the integral buzz.

Matt,

Thanks again for the beautiful work my friend it has been a pleasure and cant wait to get it. looking forward to seeing how my brothers blade turns out, i know he'll love it. Thanks again. I'll be in touch.

Merx....
