How To Single Bevel Chef's Knive with Ken Onion Grinder Attachment

Has anyone had much success sharpening single bevel (chisel edge) knives on a WorkSharp Ken Onion Knife Sharpener with the Grinder Attachment?

Looking for best practices and recommended techniques for removing the burr on the flat side and keeping the edge as originally constructed.
