Single blade slip joint

My pocket companion for the past couple days has been the last one I posted in that long thread Trand linked back on page 2.

Thank you Glocktenman! Proved very useful so far, sharp out of the pouch and will stay so.

After carrying my new Spey/Clip Charlow for a month now I have decided I really regret not getting the poison wood single clip. Don't get me wrong, what I have is an excellent knife, but I firmly believe now that I'm a one blade type of guy. I enjoy the weight of the two blades but not the added in hand bulk. I don't think, even if I had the option, I would consider trading out what I have, because, again, it is a great knife. I know there are places I can still find the single Spey blade TC but that's not really on my wish list. Kills me how fast any of the TCs go on the exchange!

I do carry one blade knife, among others, I find very comfortable in the pocket and suitable for my daily needs

With folding knives Opinels are my first choise, or the Pattada pattern knives. Friction folders in general. These days the only traditional lockback I own is the Queen Mountain Man. A bit heavy for pocket carry. I still use it occasionally. Still I intend to keep it because the beauty of the knife. For sunday use the Case slimline trapper is my choise, or the Schrade I got from a member of this forum as a gift (this is a two blade knife).
