Hi,

There are some very fine singles here! From productions to customs. The only single blade I have is a 12OT. I don't have a photo of it.

I don't know why, but I've never really been a fan of single bladed slippies. They just seem to leave me feeling a bit n aked. But there sure are some here that make wish I had one!

Wow there are some awesome knives in this thread!

This is currently my only single blade slipjoint. However, I do have a Case/Tony Bose Tribal Spear in ebony on preorder.

Elliott, I really like that Zscherny BP.

But I don't own one! :p (I do have one from Tony, though.)

I've got a swayback jack, millennium trapper and 4" wharncliffe trapper by Mike.

I know there's a few of our guys here who do have BP's by Zscherny, however.

Been really quite fond of the single blade slippies as of late. Just something about the simple design, sleek look, and slim carry really draws my attention.

My favorite type of slipjoint, the Texas Toothpick with my other favorite toy:)
Not quite as nice as some of the customs here:P

I'm having problems uploading the other pic, but here're 2.

Dave Steier #5 Interframe & a Northwoods Indian River Jack.

My bad, it was in Bastid's post! :o But I still love it.

Marty, maybe you were subliminally trying to tell Gus to send it to me...(just because...) ;)

Yeah, that must be it... :p

Elliott, I think you nailed it. Of course, if Gus sent you that BP, that would free up your Halfrich Euro which you could send to me...(just because..) :D

Pretty funny you mention that, Marty.

Jerry called here an hour or two ago. He had just made a "dressed up" version of the "Euro" in stag with a rat tail bolster and a cap (with thong hole). He told me last night that he'd send me a picture of it today.

Anyway, he built that one for himself since I got the one he had been carrying at the Blade Show.

So...he goes off today to pick up a Benelli Cordoba shotgun and the fella at the shop (a friend and customer of Jerry's) buys that one out of his pocket!:p

I told Jerry he's gonna have to have separate sets of pockets...one set for the public and another just for himself if he's ever gonna be able to keep one of his own knives.

Glad you reminded me of the story with your post.

P.S.: I'm holding on to mine. ;):p:thumbup:

Even though he winds up selling them to the lucky buyer,I do admire & respect the fact he actually carries one of his own.

Here's a few pictures of the knife alongside an old lockback that Jerry had made years ago.

(Sorry for the quality...I had to resize the small images Jerry sent via email earlier.)

Elliott, the only way Jerry's gonna be able to keep one of his knives in his pocket is to never show it to anyone, regardless of how much they beg!
