Thanks Mike, detail is important! The sheaths I make are definitely not for safe queens! but there are other folks that make nicely lined sheaths to help protect the Queen and her fair complexion

GEC seems to have taken a stance on this matter. All spear Boy's Knives have end caps and all clips have none. Maybe it's in keeping with the traditional patterns they seek to reproduce. I hope they see fit to make both options available regardless of which blade shape is used. I'd like to have a clip jack in bone with an end cap and a spear jack in wood with none. To my knowledge, they are not currently produced.
