One of the things I like most about traditional knives is the extra blade (or 2) that they have! I have a handful of singles but 90% of my traditional knives have at least 2 blades.

Now THAT's a knife !
What is that larger one there. I like that !
It's not a Back Pocket right ?

PS: Oh gosh; I'm having deja vu like I've asked you that before.

It’s a GEC #43 Oregon Trappper in natural canvas micarta. One of the most useful knives that GEC has ever produced. Top marks all around.

I like multi blades. I like having the best tool for the job Im doing, so having a variety of blades gives me options. Plus its just cool, and multi blade knives seem a bit more traditional to me. After all, if I wanted a single blade, I could get any number of identical grey titanium framelock flipper knives.. Yuck. I have single blade knives I like and use, sodbusters are one of my favorites, but a stockman or trapper generally is in my pocket. Of course, I usually have a single blade too, a fixed blade on my belt.

I voted single blade, but I have and carry a multi-blade at times. Depends on what I am doing or where I am going.

Multi-blade - Stockman for me - why not have three sharp blades with you instead of one? Yesterday my Case medium Stockman cut several sheets of drywall for samples using the Sheepfoot blade and later cut out a braided line tangle, then trimmed the tags using the Clip blade when I tied the mono leader back on. Handy to have rough cut and fine cut blades on the same knife. OH

Voted multi blade, because that's my favorite, but I carry some single blades too, and there's nothing wrong with either choice - depends on what I feel like carrying, or what I expect the day to bring.

My favorite users typically would have two blades, one curved, and one straight edge. I'm not overly fond of multi bladed knives with two similar blades, but it's not always a deal breaker.

The number of springs has usually been a bigger factor for me than number of blades. I prefer 2 springs or less

My vote is "yes" (i.e., "both"). ;) For example, I can't decide whether I like the swayback jack or gent better. Only thing I can say for sure is that I think I prefer two blades over three, even though the stockman used to be my favorite.

I love the way most singles disappear into the pocket. For smaller knives an extra blade is fine as it gives a little more to hold onto.

I like and carry both but my vote went for multi blades.
At the very least I always have a Vic Classic on me and I like a peanut or mini trapper for the watch pocket.
