Hot out the forge is one mean chopper! The blade has a lot of weight out front for some serious power. The swedge grind on the top edge is not quite sharp but would work great for splitting. The handle is black canvas micarta, but it has kind of a greenish hue.
The blade has a textured forge finish hand rubbed to 320 and then scotch brite finished.
Here are the specs.
Steel - 1/8" L6 (saw steel)
Handle - 1/4" Canvas Micarta
Pins - brass, mosaic
OAL - 11 1/4"
Blade length - 5 1/4"
Blade width - 2 5/16"
Sheath - 9oz leather, snaps up side for quick release
Price - SOLD

Thanks for looking!

outstanding!! love the way you flared the butt/pommel, enabling the user to slide down for more choppability :D...

beautiful work on the sheath, looks like wood............

That is absolutely incredible! I love the addition of the mosaic pin. The look of the knife is sweet and the ergos also look great. This shouldn't last long!

Fantastic work

Thank you both! It is definitely a very comfortable knife to hold, either choked up on the blade for small work or back on the grip for chopping.

I got to hold this knife at his shop and this is hands down my favorite he has made yet. Oh soo comfortable in the hand and great weight on the end.
