I'm not sure about finding a local retailer but you can get them for much cheaper thru Triple Aught Design.

I don't need a watch but all this Luminox talk is making me thirsty! Due to this, I spent several meaningless hours gazing at these watches yesterday, and came up with the supercheapest price at www.omegamanenterprises.com
 
The best deal that I found this summer when I bought mine was at www.botachtactical.com

Surf the web or watch the forums. I got several tritium watches off our forum. Great watches and the dials do glow brightly. Luminox is brighter than the Israelie Military watch, but the IMW is beefier.
 
Thanks for all the replies. The local Sportsmans Warehouse just got the line in. Now I can look and touch before ordering.
