yeah I just bought a bowie a week ago, its already one of my favorites-- both it and my mini have fine black horn scales, I know everyone loves wood for practical but i like to look at them lol, so horn and bone are my preference.--- best buy here was that bowie hands down

I got some good news and some semi good news.
Under "Thread Tools" we can subscribe to a thread and get "instant emails" for any change.
however this wouldnt help us since each new dotd or blem threat is a new one and not just simply a new post in an old threat.
To see new threats we would have to subscribe to the Forum. This can be done under "Forum Tools" But there is no "instant email" option. Only daily or weekly emails :-(

Not me man im all about the horn. Ive had an ak with horn over 10 years thats seen all kinds of abuse and theres not one crack or chip outta that handle. Forget them haters

One advantage to horn is that people pass up good deals on DOTD simply because its horn! I got a horn Gelbu and AK this year that would not be in my possesion if they were wood:thumbup: I like both.

I've passed on several because of the horn, perhaps I need to revisit my thinking.

Indeed Bawanna. My Lachhu made WWII with a horn handle is an absolute masterpiece-both blade and handle.
