Six nessies completed. Sheaths in the works now.

I know. Its time. Maybe first of the month.

Great work and pictures, Andy

Thanks Yangdu.

Skyler, that one is maple burl with a knot in it. Man, its dadgum gorgeous. When I added the oil, suddenly there were all these colors. Really neato.

Wholly crow, those are sweet, Andy. People rave about the qualities of Nessmuks; there must be something to it.

There's something to those six, that's for sure. :D

I can't wait to sharpen mine up and cut something with it. This design came from checking out pics of Hollow Dweller's Mr. Stripey, and he told me exactly what steel to use too. Its 3/32" thick 01.

I'm glad Dan said it Andy...please take a moment to review the FAQs, okay?

Nice stuff...

I must be missing something.

It's illegal for him to post pics of knives he's made??

I thought the knifemaker thing only related to selling knives, I mean Sarge posted pics of stuff he made all the time so I'm not sure I'm following?

I read thru some of the posting rules in the FAQ's but couldn't quite see one that fit the situation?

Can anyone help me out here?

Yeah Hollow...don't sweat it.

Tried to send a message, but you don't accept emails from here. Why don't you give me a call at work?

I'll email you but your email is on my work email so will be tomorrow:thumbup: Actually BF doesn't accept hotmail so when I signed up I used my wife's email so that's why that wont work.

Well....I have no room to talk...I posted lots of my work before I purchased a knifemaker membership...

But that wasn't my intent...

My suggestion was made because Andy IS becoming a knifemaker...it's a badge of honor. Wear it proud, bro. You deserve it!

I apologize guys, and didn't mean to cause a stir. I figured since these weren't for sale here that it'd be OK to show them. The Cantinistas are THE reason I've become a knifemaker. You guys inspired me to do this. My style of knifemaking is one I gleaned from these pages. Carbon steel, forge scale, etched. I learned to love these things here.

Dan, thanks bro. Thems big words coming from you.

Very often, the offense is only in the eyes of the offended. I am very glad to see your progress in the art Andy.

As long as no marketing is done here, no foul.

Well said, Nasty!

Andy - won't be long before budding knifemakers here in the Cantina will be following YOUR stuff and taking notes!

Looking good.

you're gonna bring one to the dinner to passaround right?

Andy, those are looking real good. Especially like the fact that you vary the pin work.

Looking forward to the sheaths.

You are inspiring me already Andy!

I've wanted to make knives for a long long time. I may finally be in a place to do it. Where does the time go...
