Six ready

Me likey Andy, great work! :D  And 0-1 is one heckuva good steel regardless of all the new high powered steels! It rusts kinda easy but who cares as most people take better care of their knives than to let them rust to the pitting stage anyway.
My custom I made for myself back in '74 is 0-1, had it hardened to 62 Rc by the heat treating shop next door to the company I worked for at the time, convex edge of course. It wasn't really a chopper but I did chop down a 4" sapling one night to try and get the Land Cruiser unstuck after my b-i-l said, "Four wheel drive? We don't need no stinking four wheel drive." :grumpy:
Anyway chopped down the sapling with absolutely no edge chipping at all. A few days afterwards as deer were being skinned, none of them mine :( one of the guys was having trouble with a knife that was dull.
I told him to try mine and he did and after the first cut he started being very careful, I asked him, "Impressed?" He said, "No more like scared." :D
My son has it now and it hasn't been sharpened since before I cut down that sapling.

Thanks guys. Upgrading membership now.

Tom, I can't imagine that I inspire you, your work is so masterful. Thanks bro.

You guys have encouraged me so much. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED.

I thought you said you were just starting out....These look very professional and polished (No pun intended) for just starting out....I love the last on the right......great stuff...You have a bright future ahead of you. :-)

By the way...Awesome Logo....very clever.

Nice new shingle ya got there Andy...

How about a pointer to the right thread in the knifemakers area for us to see?

Really sweet Andy!

I love the varied handle materials, and I'll bet they all sharpen up great.

Can't wait to see the sheaths as well.

Norm

Nice work Andy. And those sheaths are looking good too. I really like the addition of the firesteel.
