Good Morning everyone!

First post and I can tell I'll be around here for a while.

Recently started picking up steam in my knife collection and I believe with the purchase of my first Boker Kwaiken, I'd like to get some custom work done to it. I ran across Six Three Blade Worx while cruising the internet and fired off an email to them. Within a couple hours I received a reply and looks like Mike and I share a vision on what the potential for my first "upgrade" project will be.

I tried searching for reviews on this shop but have not come up with anything yet. Have any of you heard or worked with this shop in the past? Mike said hes 3-4 weeks out on work right now so that seems to be reasonable.

I have a feeling which ever shop I start working with will end up seeing plenty of my collection over time.

Welcome! As a word of caution, you should check the Bladeforums Paid Dealer's list, before posting a link to a maker's website. I guess there have been people in the past who took it over the top, and the Moderators have to treat everybody the same.

I hope I speak for everybody when I say that we look forward to seeing pictures as this knife evolves. We really like pictures.

I appreciate the heads up and went ahead and took the link out so I dont break any rules.

I've been getting nothing but good communication from Mike and it looks like I'll be sending him the knife the day after I receive it in the mail. I'll be sure to take some before pictures before it ships off. thanks!

Welcome aboard and good luck with the mods!

The Kwaiken has pretty much become one of the best knives to have mods done on lately, so you should have good luck with it since they're so easy to work with.
Let us know how it turns out for sure!

We sell custom ZT scales that are made by sixthreebladeworx. Mike is an awesome guy and first rate to deal with. We have a number of customers who order their knives and have us send them straight to Mike. He has great communication and is easy to work with.

Welcome to the forums!

Thanks for the review! I found your site on this forum today and looks like i'll be ordering something from you shortly. I appreciate the post!

While I haven't heard much of sixthree, I have seen plenty from Witty and USAMADE, Buy with confidence.

Welcome to the forums, and post up some pics when you finally get your knife in hand.
Before and afters are always welcomed.

Mods, if the comment on Whitty should be removed and put in feedback, let me know and I will remove it.
Thanks.

I just recently bought a scale from sixthreebladeworx for my ZT 0566 and I really like it. It is the first custom scale I've ordered. There are a few areas where it doesn't match up perfectly, but its very very minor and doesn't bug me at all. It's understandable as he makes them by hand. When I ordered mine it took a little longer as he was out of the material I wanted and had to order some more. Once it was finished, it came really quick. Overall I really enjoy it and would order from him again.

Scored a BladeHQ limited edition carbon/stonewashed Kwaiken yesterday. I wonder if the planned Lightning Strike Carbon Fiber upgrade I was planning on my Titanium scaled Kwaiken shouldnt take a different direction
